Chinese Peking Blue Antique 12' x 17'3"

This beautiful antique Peking large rug is circa 1900-1910, offers a soft wool pile and the classic Chinese blue and ivory or white colors and a small medallion in the center with images of butterflies and flowers. The corners also show the wonderful design which is part of the center medallion design, also the border consists of two sections, a thin border displays dragon design and butterflies and some other smaller floral motives while the outer and wider or main border displays a lovely cream background that is field with floral motifs. Overall the rug is in very good condition and offers full pile throughout the rug except two minor area near the center medallion with wears but no holes and no stains, no repairs, It is hand knotted, wool pile.
